Round Table Q & A

We know that navigating the world of speech therapy isn’t easy! You may be told by your family doctor at a check-up that your child should see a speech-language pathologist, or you, yourself, may have a feeling that something just isn’t right. Either way, you are tasked with the research. What exactly do speech-language pathologists do? What is involved in an assessment? What can I do to help? All of this can be a very daunting task. So where do you start?

You start by asking questions.

Every few months our Clinical Director, Jeanette Podolsky, hosts a one-hour round-table Q & A to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your child’s communication skills. In addition to being able to ask your specific questions, it is a great opportunity to learn more about what speech-language pathologists do, and how they can help. Resources and handouts provided.

Our next discussions take place on:

120 West Beaver Creek Road, Unit 22, Richmond Hill
